I've been working in the solar industry for over a decade — first in design and sales, now in performance and maintenance.

That shift happened for a reason. After years of helping people invest in solar, I kept seeing the same pattern: systems installed, handshakes exchanged, and then nothing. No service visits. No one watching the output. Panels quietly losing 20, sometimes 30 percent of their potential while the owner assumes everything is fine because the electricity bill is lower than it used to be.

Lower than before isn't the same as what you're actually owed.
